Chocolate Peanut Butter Fudge Squares

Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp coconut oil (extra virgin)
  • 270 g peanut butter - crunchy or smooth (or 1 Cup)
  • 5 tbsp maple syrup (pure, good quality)
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder

Instructions
 

  • Melt the coconut oil in a glass or pyrex bowl, either in a bain marie or in the microwave. Remove from the heat.
  • Add the rest of the ingredients and stir until well combined.
  • Pour the mixture into a small, freezer-proof container.
  • Smooth down the top with the back of a spoon and place the container in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  • Remove briefly to cut into 18-20 squares and then return to the freezer to continue setting for at least a further 45 minutes.
  • When ready, serve and eat, being careful not to leave them out too long at room temperatur or else the squares will start to melt and become a little gooey.
  • Keep uneaten squares (hah – who am I kidding?) in the freezer for up to 2 weeks.
