Ginger Echinacea Tea Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp echinacea tea leaves
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, chopped
  • Juice half a lemon
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup

Equipment

  • Tea strainer

Method
 

  1. Boil the water in a small saucepan.
  2. Remove from the heat and stir in the echinacea leaves and the ginger.
  3. Cover and let steep for 12-15 mins.
  4. Strain the liquid and pour into a cup or mug.
  5. Add the lemon and honey/maple syrup and stir well.
